HISTORICAL COUNSEL (HOURLY RESEARCH)

Expert guidance and analytical support for when your research has reached a crossroads, but questions still remain.

  • Whether you’ve reached a dead end in your family tree, encountered conflicting records, or just need an expert’s perspective, Historical Counsel offers tailored research advice, problem-solving, and strategic support.  This flexible hourly service is useful for those who are seeking clarity, confidence, and context in their research journey.  With a deep knowledge and understanding of historical sources, we help you move your story forward.

    Wrexham, Cheshire, Shropshire, Lancashire local services include:

    §  Local record office visits

    §  Record transcription

    §  Homes, places of work, headstone photography

  • £50 per hour (based on two researchers working on the same project)

    Archival documents purchased and charged at cost

    If travel is required, an additional cost of 45p per mile will be charged

    No packages.  Just professional support, when and where it’s needed

    The final result, a hardback book designed to inform, move, and be passed down through generations.
